These terms are an agreement between you and Shufflick ("the app", "we", "us") about using the Shufflick app and website. By creating an account or using Shufflick, you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Shufflick.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Shufflick. If you're under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission.
You're responsible for your account and for what happens with it, so keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used it. One account per person. Your username must not impersonate anyone, including Shufflick or its staff, and must not be offensive.
Shufflick has usernames, profile photos, list names, reviews and shared lists that other people see. You must not post, share or send anything that is:
Nor may you abuse other people through Shufflick, for example by harassing them with invitations or reviews, or by working around a block.
Anyone can report a username, photo, list or review, and block anyone, from inside the app. We review reports and act on them within 24 hours. We may remove anything that breaks these terms, reset an offensive username, and suspend or delete the accounts of people who break them, without warning.
You keep ownership of what you create in Shufflick, such as your reviews, list names and profile photo. So that the app can work, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy and display it to other users as the app describes (for example, a review to signed-in users, or a list you show on your profile), and in previews of links you share. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except where others have already been shown it or the law requires us to keep it. You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.
Don't misuse Shufflick: no scraping or collecting other users' information, no automated accounts, no attempts to get around its security or limits, no interfering with how it works, and no reverse engineering except where the law allows it.
Movie details and images come from TMDB, and information about where to watch comes from JustWatch through TMDB. Shufflick isn't endorsed by either, and their information may be incomplete or out of date. Shufflick links to streaming services' apps and websites; their own terms apply there, and we're not responsible for their content, prices or availability. If you sign in with Apple or Google, their terms apply to that sign-in.
We work to keep Shufflick running well, but we provide it "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will always be available, free of errors, or right about any film. We may change, pause or stop any part of it.
To the extent the law allows, Shufflick is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid us, which is nothing for the free app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.
You can stop using Shufflick and delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we have to for legal reasons.
If you downloaded Shufflick from Apple's App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to your use of the app. Apple is not responsible for Shufflick or its content.
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Shufflick after a change means you accept the new terms.
