Shufflick ("the app", "we", "us") is a movie discovery app for iOS and Android. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@benleach.com.

We don't collect your contacts, photos, precise location, or advertising identifiers.
Recommendations such as "Made for you" and "Because you liked…" are calculated on our own servers by comparing movie details (genres, keywords, directors, and similar information) with the movies in your library. Some suggestions, such as "Fans also liked", come from anonymous patterns across all users' likes. These patterns never reveal who liked what.
Some curated mood lists (for example, "Goblincore") have names and descriptions written with the help of an AI model. That process uses no personal information at all.
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the app, and only as much as they need:
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service.
We keep your account and library for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, your account, lists, ratings, roll history, and import records are permanently deleted from our live database right away, and they drop out of our rolling backups within 7 days. Server logs are kept only briefly.
All connections to our servers use HTTPS. Access to your data is restricted so that only your signed-in account can read or change your library. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and fix any issue promptly.
Shufflick isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
If we make meaningful changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
